MILK TEA – Any tea drink with added milk is called milk tea which is famous all around the world and here’s how to make this.

As simple as a pour of milk into a cup of hot tea or/and blended with some other ingredients is called milk tea. This sweet beverage is very famous and is many people’s favorite.

Not only it tastes sweet and good but it is also refreshing. It also comes with different flavors and variations to choose from.

It has several types such as the following:

This beverage contains caffeine but the amount depends on what type of tea is used. And often times, black tea is used which has 60 to 120 milligrams of caffeine in every cup of eight (8) ounces.

Black tea is said to be the healthiest type of tea. It has antioxidants that help improve health and lower the risk of chronic diseases. Black tea also contains antimicrobial properties and nutrients like calcium, vitamin D, protein, vitamin B12, and potassium.

Here’s a simple guide to making this trending drink:

  • Prepare ingredients such as one cup of water, two teaspoons of black tea or 1 tea bag, one teaspoon of brown sugar or any sweetener you prefer, and ¼ cup of your preferred milk.

    • Boil the water.
    • Add the tea bag or two teaspoons of black tea in an infuser or tea strainer.
    • Add sugar and stir well.
