VEGETABLE SALAD – In order to maintain good health, we need vegetables, and here’s how you make a vegetable salad, another way of enjoying them.

Fruits ad vegetables are important for a healthy diet and choosing in variety is just as important as the quantity. We need to eat in variety as there is no one type of fruit or vegetable that can provide the body with all the nutrients it needs for functioning.

We need them to lower blood pressure, reduce the risk of heart disease and stroke, prevent some types of cancer, lower the risk of eye and digestive problems, and many more.

And one way of enjoying a variety of vegetables in one sitting is by making a vegetable salad.

Here are the ingredients you would need:

  • 2 Medium Ripe tomatoes (cut lengthwise in 8 segments)
  • 2 cups Cabbage, shredded
  • 1 Capsicum, sliced
  • 2 Carrots, sliced
  • 2 tbsp Vinegar
  • 1 tbsp Honey
  • 2 tsp Salt
  • A pinch of Pepper
  • 2 tbsp Yogurt

Procedure:

  • Mix the yogurt, salt, pepper, honey, and vinegar all together.
