According to Doc Willie, it is best to check on the pulse rate, the respiratory rate, and the signals in the body. Stress usually comes when a person is angry or annoyed. Here are some steps you may follow to determine if you are stressed:

  • Check the pulse rate
    • 60-90 beats per minute is normal
    • 70-90 beats per minute indicates having no sickness
    • 80-90 beats per minute indicates that the person is slightly stressed
    • 95-100 beats per minute shows that a person is super stressed
  • Fast breathing
    • According to Doc Willie, rapid breathing may also indicate that a person is stressed. The normal breathing is twelve (12) breathes per minute.
  • Body pains
    • Based on the post, body pains may also indicate stress. Dr. Willie Ong cited pains in the hands, shoulders, neck, and lips as indicators. A painful abdomen may also show that you are stressed.

According to Doc Willie, to prevent getting stressed, it is best to take deep breathes and to relax. You may drink lukewarm water every five (5) minutes to relax.
