Dr. Willie Ong Cites Symptoms of Ovarian Cyst & Its Risk To Become Cancer
OVARIAN CYST – Popular doctor Willie Ong pointed out its symptoms and explained its risk of becoming cancer.
One of the diseases that most people are afraid of is cancer. It is due to the fact that many lost the battle against cancer and its treatment is very costly – not only financially but as well as emotionally and physically.
There are different types of cancer as it may target the different parts of the body. There are those that may only be present among men while there are also those that can only affect women.
With regards to the types of cancer that may only be present among women, one of them is the cancer of the ovaries. It may begin with an ovarian cyst. Meanwhile, according to Dr. Willie Ong, not all cysts become cancerous.
In a video, Dr. Willie Ong expressed that most ovarian cyst do not become cancer. He cited the different symptoms of cyst in the ovaries and it include the following:
- abdominal bloating or swelling
- painful bowel movements
- pelvic pain before or during the menstrual cycle
- pain in the lower back or thighs
- breast tenderness
- nausea and vomiting
With regards to cyst in the ovaries, there are also different types. According to Doc Willie, these two (2) types are not very risky:
- Follicular cyst characterized by water and blood in the ovaries
- Corpus letum cyst characterized by woman’s inability to be pregnant
Based on the post of Dr. Willie Ong, there are also serious types of ovarian cyst. Here is a list of them:
- Endometrial cyst which is characterized by bleeding
- Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS)
- Dermoid cyst which sometimes grow hair
