Dr. Willie Ong Cites Ways On How To Recover Fast from Fever & Flu

FEVER & FLU – Doctor Willie Ong gave some tips on how to recover fast from these health conditions.

Most especially during the changing of the season, fever and flu are rampant. It exempts no one regardless of age and gender. Those who have low immune systems are most susceptible to it.

These two (2) health conditions appear as common health problems as they can be treated in a few days unless they signal a different and more serious disease. On the other side, do you know that there are faster ways of treating them?

In a video, Dr. Willie Ong gave some tips on how to treat fever & flu fast. Here are what you must remember in case it affects you or any person in the family:

  • Do not let your fever be higher than 39 degrees Celsius. Drink medicine every four (4) hours.
  • Stay in a cool place. Do not use thick blanket to avoid suppressing the heat of your body.
  • Rest. It is better to stay in bed if you have fever and flu.
  • Drink eight (8) to ten (10) glasses of water daily. If you drink a lot of water, you can release the heat inside your body through urination.
  • Do not take a full bath. Wet a face towel and use it in wiping your body.

Based on the video, Dr. Willie Ong also advises drinking of juices that are high in Vitamin C if you have fever & flu. You may consider calamansi, dalandan, lemon, or orange juice.
