An example of a healthy breakfast consists of a cup of rice, banana, fish, and a low fat milk. Another one is oatmeal with almond or soya milk with fruits and toast or pandesal.

Breakfast, aside from providing energy, is a good start for the body. Also, a healthy one such as that of oatmeal lowers cholesterol and maintains weight. Skipping breakfast can lead to weight gain because you tend to eat more during your lunch. Eating breakfast also improves focus and concentration to those who work and go to schools promoting good performance.

Here are the benefits of having breakfast everyday:

  • This breaks your overnight fast because you slept which is probably the reason why it is called “breakfast” because you literally “break the fast”.
