The habit of smoking is probably hard to break but probably after hearing its bad effects, you might want to quit on it right away. But what more after hearing the good results of stopping yourself from that bad habit right?

  • 12 HOURS – The level of carbon monoxide will also drop back to normal.
  • 24 HOURS AFTER – The mucus in our lungs will be cleared out which is why coughing will be a great sign.
  • 1 TO 2 WEEKS AFTER – Improvement in circulation and lung function.
  • 1 TO 9 WEEKS – You can get away from constant coughing and shortness of breath.
  • 1 YEARS AFTER – The risk of coronary heart disease is a half lower than those who still smoke.
  • 5 YEARS AFTER – You will half the percentage of risk of getting contracting mouth, throat, esophagus, and b ladder cancers.
  • 10 YEARS AFTER – Lower risk of getting pancreatic and larynx cancer and also risk to have lung cancer will be reduced to half.
  • 15 YEARS AFTER – The risk to get heart disease will be as low as to those who do not smoke.
