TUBERCULOSIS & HEART FAILURE – Doctors Willie and Liza Ong gave tips on what to do to avoid tuberculosis and in case you are suffering from heart failure.

Two(2) of the serious health conditions that affect a lot of people nowadays are tuberculosis and heart failure. A person may be suffering from heart failure since birth or born with congenital heart disease but it can also be obtained due to unhealthy lifestyle.

With regards to TB which affects the lungs, it can be caused by the unhealthy habits or lifestyle of a person, the environment, or by another person. This lung disease can be transmitted and needs a proper series of treatments.

In a video, Doc Willie and Doc Liza Ong gave some tips on what to do in case you have a heart failure. They also cited pieces of advice to avoid tuberculosis which can lead to breathing difficulties.

According to the doctors, if you have a heart failure, the water intake should be controlled. The patient may also be given the appropriate medicines for the said medical condition. If not treated well, this can also lead to the storage of water in the lungs.

According to Dr. Mon Fernandez, usually, having water in the lungs is usually caused by the organ itself. The medicines may have side effects but it should still be taken for the treatment.

Based on the video, with regards to tuberculosis, a person may be asked to undergo the tuberculin test which is set to determine if the person was exposed to TB. To avoid water in the lungs, here are some pieces of advice:

  • avoid unhealthy habits
  • have adequate sleep
  • avoid smoke from cars and paints
  • get vaccinated against flu and pneumonia
