However, there are certain ways other than being in quarantine to avoid contracting the virus may it be in public places or inside the vicinity of your home.

Whenever you are in a public place such as the comfort room, people must open the door and windows for the wind to blow and prevent transmission of the virus. This is because the virus can stay being in the air for several hours in a certain distance but mainly, the virus is spread through droplet and having in contact with someone who is infected already.

Being in close spaces where air cannot pass through is where you can likely get infected such as inside the car, meeting room, airplane, hospital, air-conditioned room, and among others. It would be better to be in open areas. Also, if the windows and doors are open, the viruses that stay in the air would vanish easily due to heat and humidity.

And when you are at your house, it is okay to stay inside then close the windows and lock the door for as long as no one inside is infected or sick, most especially if having the flu-like symptoms. Just always remember a person is at high risk of having the virus in an enclose space.
