BELLY FAT – Here are some tips from public health expert Doc Willie Ong to get rid and shed off your unwanted belly fat amid community quarantine.

In social media, amid the enhanced community quarantine where we are all advise to stay just inside our homes in order to contain the spread of the virus, aside from addiction to Tiktok, most people also get addicted to eating. As much as we are all aware of, excessive eat can possibly lead to being overweight and can eventually cause belly fat.

With this, here are some tips from Doc Willie Ong in order for you to lose your belly fat:

  • Eat healthy foods such as eggs, oatmeal, berries, green tea, lean meat, apple, nuts, pears, and among others in order not to gain weight.
  • Cut off sugar especially in beverages such as iced tea, soft drinks, juices, and among others. Always opt to drink water or lemon water. Drink 8 to 12 glasses everyday but don’t exceed to 16 glasses.
  • Consume healthy fats which can be found in foods such as avocado, olive oil, and fish.
  • No to white carbs like rice, bread, french fries, and many others.
  • Avoid stress because this increases cortisol level in the body which triggers hunger and eventually leads to stress eating which makes you gain unnecessary weight.
  • Eat green leafy vegetables and lean protein.
  • Do some physical activities in order to lose calories. Exercising boosts brain power, takes away stress, gives energy, helps ward off disease,pumps up heart, improves performance, and many other benefits.
