According to Dr. Willie Ong, the nCoV cases in China now is decreasing and it is a good sign. However, the death toll is also increasing.

The doctor stressed that if the death toll decreases, it shows a bigger chance of controlling the epidemic and stopping its spread throughout the world.

Recently, there were talks about the mode of transmission of the coronavirus. In the video, Dr. Willie Ong explained whether it is airborne or through a droplet.

According to the doctor, the nCoV’s mode of transmission is currently through droplets but it is not 100% sure. In this case, a person one (1) to two (2) meters away from the patient can be spared from the disease.

Doc Willie explained that airborne diseases include tuberculosis, measles, and chicken pox. Under this mode of transmission, a person within 10 meters from the sick patient can be infected.

An N95 mask is really needed against an airborne disease while a cloth mask will do against diseases that spread through droplets. Based on the video, it is really important to clean public vehicles once or twice daily as it can cause the virus spread.
