The outbreak of the 2019 novel coronavirus has taken the socila media platforms by storm. However, not all information posted about the said disease are factual.

The novel coronavirus or also called as nCoV was first recorded in Wuhan City, China. The place is now under a lock-down after nearly 8,000 people were infected by the disease.

The records showed that 425 people in China died of coronavirus. The first nCoV death case outside China was recorded in the Philippines and one patient also died in Hong Kong.

  • Drinking alcohol to fight the nCoV is not permissible and it can damage the brain and the stomach.
  • Do not use alcohol in your face most especially in your eyes as it can lead to blindness.

  • The virus can stay alive in things for 24 hours.
  • Mask only helps us prevent the touching of the face with the hands.
  • The medical mask should be used for one (1) day only.
  • Three (3) out of 100 patients of nCoV die unlike SARS which 8% of the infected individuals pass away.
  • There is chance of infection inside a close air-conditioned room.
