It also consists of insoluble fiber which makes it a low-glycemic index food. Corn also contains several minerals such as zinc, magnesium, copper, iron, and manganese.

Is it safe to eat corn every day?

According to a post from WebMD, a 2000-calorie diet has an “average daily recommendation of 2 ½ cups of vegetables” which includes corn. A cup of corn every day will give you 10% of the daily recommended amount of fiber.

But since it is packed with carbohydrates and starch, it is suggested to consume it in moderation. Excessive amounts may have adverse effects, especially on people with diabetes as it may spike their blood sugar levels.
