Chocolate is known to have advantages and disadvantages for the body. For health conscious individuals, they prefer dark chocolate as it is known as the healthier type of the food as it contains a lot of antioxidants.

Based on an article on India Today, this type of chocolate which is bittersweet helps lower the risk of heart diseases. It is also an excellent food to fight ageing.

However, according to Nishi Grover, a nutritionist, dark chocolate is not good for snacks or for an entire day consumption despite its health benefits. It can greatly increase your body fat.

While this type of chocolate is more preferred, there must be moderation in its consumption. Based on the article, Grover recommends to only have a small portion of it and not to have it as your snacks.

In everything, it is good to practice moderation. As the saying goes, “too much and too little of something is not good”. Keep your body healthy by having enough rest and sleep and guarding your diet.
