FRUITS – Doctor Willie Ong shared in a video the kinds of fruit that you must eat moderately to avoid getting fat.

A lot of people are into diet. Some wanted to drop the extra pounds most especially those who are struggling against obesity while others wanted to maintain their slim and fit figure. Are you also on a diet?

Most people who are on a diet would enroll themselves in a fitness center or gym and be very careful of the food they are eating. They cut their intake of unhealthy food and replace it with the different kinds of vegetable and fruit.

However, did you know that there are fruits that can make a person fat when not eaten moderately? That is Dr. Willie Ong revealed through a video. There are those who calorie content are close to what you can get from a cup of rice.

According to Doc Willie, a cup of rice contains 200 calories. The following kinds of fruit got the following calorie level thus you must limit your intake:

  • Avocado – 322 calories per piece
  • Grapes – 106 calories per cup
  • Mango – 107 calories per slice (1/3 size)
  • Prunes – 100 calories per five(5) pieces

In the video, Dr. Willie Ong also advised putting limits on the consumption of dried fruits and those that are canned. According to the doctor, a cup of raisins contain 219 calories which is more than what we can get from a cup of rice.

On the side of those that are canned, they are soaked in syrup which is sugary. It can make a person fat. In fruit cocktails, it is best to just consider the fruit slices and not the syrup.

Doc Willie Ong suggests those who are on a diet to eat apples, pears, melon, watermelon, banana, and strawberries. They are high in water and got low calories. Here is the video:
