However, there are certain conditions where some people experiences not gaining weight despite eating large meals and the vice versa. What could this mean?

  • Metabolism – People whose age is 30 and below have fast metabolism. However, if you are over 40, it slows down which can cause weight gain and belly fat.

  • Genetics – Some physical attributes of a person may get inherited by their child. Like for example: big legs, big arms, and chubby cheeks.
  • Medical Problems – There are certain health conditions that make you fat such as after gallbladder operation or makes you reduce weight like hyperthyroid. When you are stressed, there is a possibility that you either gain or lose weight.
