Undeniably, during the summer season, a lot of health cases cross the surface. Among these are heat stroke and cardiac arrest. The very hot weather can really be risky for those with existing medical conditions and the elderly ones.

1. Take healthy and light meals.

Based on the article, it is important to eat small and light meals frequently to keep yourself healthy. Eating a meal that is loaded with carbohydrates can give rise to so much heat in your body.

2. Keep your eyes healthy.

Wear protective eyewear during the sunny season to protect your eyes. Find an eyewear that blocks 99% of the ultraviolet (UV) rays.

3. Prevent alcohol and caffeine consumption.

Drinking coffee and alcoholic drinks can dehydrate your body. Drink plain or flavored water instead.

4. Drink a lot of water.

Keep your body hydrated by drinking a lot of water. Take at least two (2) liters of water daily to stay healthy this summer season.

5. Prevent outdoor activities.

Based on the article, it is best to do your outdoor activities before 11:00 o’clock in the morning or after 5:00 o’clock in the afternoon. Hours between it are the most sunny and can cause dehydration.
