CORONAVIRUS TIPS – Here is a guide on what you must do before putting on a mask as a prevention against COVID-19 infection.

Several countries across the globe have confirmed cases of coronavirus or COVID-19. Among these nations are the United States, the Philippines, Italy, France, and Spain.

The said disease first emerged in China. It infected over 81,000 people in China and took over 3,300 lives. China locked Wuhan City, its epicenter, for several weeks.

The World Health Organization (WHO) declared COVID-19 as pandemic. Its effects are far beyond what was expected of it. Globally, the total confirmed cases now is over 1-million.

The said new strain of coronavirus has taken over 53,000 lives in the different countries. Italy got the highest death toll now due to COVID-19 at nearly 14,000.

Nowadays, most countries limit the movements of their people to curb the spread of coronavirus. Some nations only allow one (1) person per household to do the groceries.

Most people wear mask when they go out to buy for food. On its official website, the World Health Organization (WHO) gave some coronavirus tips – specifically on what to before putting on a mask.

Coronavirus Tips on Wearing Mask:

  • Clean your hands with soap and water or apply some rubbing alcohol before putting on your mask.
  • Your mask must cover both your mouth and nose and there must be no gaps between the mask and your face.
  • Do not touch the mask while you are wearing it. According to WHO, if you really have to move it, make sure to apply some rubbing alcohol or wash your hands with soap and water.
  • After using the mask, remove it by touching only the string. Throw it immediately and make sure to clean your hands with soap and water or rubbing alcohol.
  • Do not re-use your mask.
