2019 CORONAVIRUS – Here are the ways on how Macau handled the COVID-19 to prevent its spread.

Currently, a number of countries across the globe are fighting against the spread of COVID-19. First recorded in China, the said disease has already taken over 6,500 lives worldwide.

The said new strain of coronavirus left China and Italy under an outbreak. Several countries now are preventing the onset of its spread after witnessing from those two countries how hard it can hit a nation.

Philippines is one of the countries with increasing cases of coronavirus. Community quarantines are now implemented in the different cities and provinces and the whole of Luzon is under an “enhanced community quarantine”.

On social media, posts about the 2019 coronavirus circulate. One of those is the way Macau handled the said disease. Based on Worldometer, the country recorded 12 cases of COVID-19 and ten (10) of the patients have already recovered.

Viral social media posts stated that here are the ten (10) ways how Macau handled the 2019 coronavirus:

1. Lockdown.

2. Hotels, restaurants, shops, offices, banks,
parks, and schools were totally closed.

3. Nobody was allowed to go outside.

4. Limited bus schedule. People walked to
avoid crowded places.

5. Proper distribution of masks. Limited to ten (10) pieces per person. After 10 days, you can buy another 10 pieces.

6. Every hour authorities announced the status of the
virus all over the place.

7. In every building and street, Macau has staff
checking the body temp.

8. They have an online health declaration.

9. All the borders were closed.

10. The people respect the government
and follow the rules.
