Breast cancer, kidney cancer, bladder cancer, lung cancer, lymphoma, melanoma, prostate cancer, and thyroid cancer are just some of the most common types of cancer. There a lot of types out there and this is among the top diseases that have claimed a lot of lives already.
A family history of cancer, eating unhealthy foods, and smoking are some common factors that can increase your risk of developing cancer. In a previous post, among the common early signs of this include changes in solid and liquid waste excretion, bleeding, lumps, moles, and unexplained weight loss.
Now, according to Doc Willie Ong, here are some foods to help prevent development of certain types of cancer:
- Fruits and vegetables that are color YELLOW like carrots, sweet potato, squash, and tomato.
- Tomatoes and tomato sauce
- Garlic, onions, and leeks
- Green tea
- Turmeric and yellow curry
- Cabbage, broccoli, and cauliflower
- Ginger
- Soy products like tofu
- Shitake mushrooms and other mushrooms
- Oily fish
- Probiotics and yogurt
- Strawberries, blueberries, and cranberries
At the end of the video, Doc Willie firmly encourages people to avoid unhealthy foods, quit smoking, and limit their intake of alcoholic beverages. Cancer treatment may include chemotherapy, radiation, and/or surgery.
Other prevention tips include avoiding burnt foods, street foods, processed foods and meats, foods high in sodium, fried foods, foods such as bopis, dinuguan, and other offal, and staying too long under the heat of the sun. Also, along with healthy and clean eating is being physically active.
