A simple glass of water can be more satisfying than a cup of coffee or a can of soda. Most experts suggest drinking a plenty amount of this due to the benefits it can give to us. However, not everyone is an enthusiast of drinking water.
Here are some signs you’ve not been drinking enough water that you must not ignore:
- Dry mouth
The moment you feel that sticky, nasty feeling in your mouth, what you need to reach is a glass of water and not sugary drinks. The role of water in your mouth is that it lubricates the mucus membranes which keeps it wet and moist. - Dry skin
Being the largest organ of the body, it needs hydration. A little water means little sweat which also reduces your body’s ability to wash off excess dirt and oil that you have accumulated in a day. - Joint pain
The cartilage and spinal discs are 80% water. This means water is needed for it to be working grinding against each other doing activities like running or jumping. - Fatigue
Lack of water can make the body borrow water from the blood. This affects to amount of oxygen in the blood that can lead to sleepiness and fatigue. - Constipation

Normally, we go to the bathroom 4-7 times a day, and if you’re not doing this, it indicates you’re not drinking enough fluid. The normal color of urine is light yellow or clear color. If it’s darker, you need more proper hydration.
