What to do if your stomach suddenly hurts? There are home care that you can do which could relieve the pain for less serious cases or ease the hurt for the mean time for serious cases. Here are some of the things you can do:
- sip water or other clear fluids
- avoid solid food for the first few hours
- take antacids if the pain is high up in your abdomen
- do not eat for six (6) hours if you are vomiting, then eat only small amounts of food.

- drink plenty of water daily
- eat small meals frequently
- limit your in-take of foods that produce gas
- exercise regularly
