In the video, Dr. Willie and Dr. Liza Ong also pointed out how to identify if your stomach pain is due to appendicitis. Here are the considerations:

  • pain starts at the center of your stomach or in the navel
  • after twelve (12) hours, the pain will move to the right side of your body
  • the pain is intense most especially when walking and coughing
  • you may vomit or have a fever

According to Dr. Willie and Dr. Liza Ong, it is not good to drink pain reliever as it can vanish the pain but worsen the condition. Go for a check-up and you may be asked to undergo a blood test, a urine test, an ultrasound, and a CT scan.

Also, according to the doctors, the doctor might examine you by applying pressure on certain parts of the stomach to check if the pain is directly connected to your appendix. Based on the video, the only treatment for it is surgery and the recovery may take two (2) to four (4) weeks.
