STRESS RELIEF – Here are some types of foods you must know and eat in order to help relieve your stress and reduce your anxiety.
A lot of factors, incident, and things are causing one person to be stressed. It is a feeling of an emotional or physical tension which makes one feel frustrated, angry, or nervous. Accordingly, stress is just the body’s reaction to a challenge or demand. However, in the long run, stress can actually affect or harm your health.
Health problems associated to stress include high blood pressure, heart disease, diabetes, obesity, depression, skin problems, and menstrual problems. And if you already have one of these, stress can possibly worsen it.
And since food is the top stress reliever of a lot of people, here are some healthy foods you must eat in order to reduce stress or anxiety:
- Sweet potatoes
- Kimchi
- Artichokes
- Eggs
- Shellfish
- Fatty fish to prevent surge of stress hormones
- Broccoli
- Chickpeas
- Chamomile tea
- Blueberries
- Warm bowl of oatmeal to boost serotonin
