WEIRD SLEEPING TIPS – Here are some weird yet effective tips to sleep faster and peaceful according to doctors Willie Ong and Liza Ong.
Sleeping is truly one of the best remedy we can have. After a sleep, we wake up feeling refreshed and alert for our daily activities and this affects how we look, feel and perform on a daily basis.
What are the benefits of sleeping:
- The longer the sleep, the sharper the mind is because it has rested.
- Improved mood and you don’t get irritated easily.
- Better heart state and blood pressure.
- Energy and strength to do physical activities.
- Normal blood sugar.
- Combats infections.
- Prevents weight gain.
Now, here are some weird but effective tips to sleep faster and better:
- Stomach massage. In circular motion, this can make you calm and relax similar to that which we do to babies.
- Wearing socks. We don’t like cold in our feet which is why wearing socks will bring comfort as you sleep.
- Turn around your feet. To help you relax, turn around your feet in round motion to fall asleep faster.
- Pillow under knees. Putting a pillow under your knees relaxes your back and will give a calm feeling.
- Position. Take different positions in sleeping based on your choice of comfort.
- Don’t look for clock. Seeing your time before sleeping will only stress you out most especially if you feel like you will be sleeping late.
- Cellphone away. Put down and take away your cellphone fromm before sleeping to avoid from any distractions.
- Cold room. The colder the room the faster it will take you to fall asleep.
- Chamomile Tea. Drink this tea before sleeping.
- Trick your mind. Forget about the meetings, fights, being emotional, and heavy thoughts as if those don’t exist to relax your mind. Avoid stressing out.
- Relax your body part by part.
- Praying.
