Doc Willie & Liza Ong Discuss Simple Diseases That Can Take Life
SIMPLE DISEASES – Doctors Willie and Liza Ong discussed the diseases that are often taken for granted but can take a life.
Most of the time, not until we can’t get up from bed anymore, we don’t stop from our tasks to have our health checked by a doctor. This also happens even when we are not feeling well. We take for granted the little signs that may actually be due to serious conditions.
The said habit should be stopped. There are a lot of advantages of being extra careful with our health – we can avoid suffering from health conditions, spending too much on medication, and seeing our families struggle.
We can begin by familiarizing ourselves with the simple diseases that must not be taken for granted. In a video, Doc Willie and Doc Liza Ong discussed these health conditions that can actually take a life:
1. Low Potassium or Hypokalemia
Often times, our potassium level going low does not take much of our attention. It can be due to the drop on the electrolyte levels in the body or merely not getting enough potassium.
It should not be taken for granted. Turn to food that are rich in potassium like the sweet potato, coconut water, spinach, avocado, white beans, and acorn squash.
2. Anaphylaxis / Severe Allergy
This allergy reaction can cost a life in an instant. You can get this from drinking milk or eating food like banana, eggs, tree nuts, wheat, shellfish, soybeans, and peanuts.
3. Heart Attack Symptoms
According to Doc Willie and Doc Liza, these signs include chest pain, palpitation, and the breaking out of cold sweats. Breathing difficulty may also be a sign of heart attack.
In the video, the doctors also differentiated the signs of ulcer from the symptoms of heart attack. The former is characterized by an abdominal pain that lasts from one(1) to two(2) hours. The latter is characterized by heart pains that appears when the person is tired and it can last for 15 minutes.
