There are a lot of things that many people avoid when it comes to the foods they eat. One of this is the carbohydrates content.
A lot of individuals avoid foods that have high carbohydrate content. They limit their rice intake and also avoid breads and pastries which contain a lot of carbohydrates. Many of these individuals are people with diabetes.
However, if you are a healthy person, avoiding carbohydrates is not a healthy move. The idea that “the fewer the carbohydrate intake is, the healthier the person is” is just a myth.

A study showed that men and women who eat whole grains have lower risk to hear disease by 20% to 30%. Other sources of healthy carbohydrates include vegetables, legumes, nuts, seeds, and whole fruits.
Avoiding carbohydrates is not a healthy move as its healthy type is one of the ways to prevent several diseases. The key, as always, is moderation.
