However, is it okay to fully rely on this probiotic drinks in keeping the gut healthy? In reference to its tag line, will you really be okay if you have it everyday?

Based on an article in Flipscience, while Yakult probiotic drink has a lot of benefits to offer, the effects many not be the same among everyone. A study showed that not all can completely rely their gut healthy to this healthy drink.

The study found that out of 15 volunteer subjects who took probiotics for over four (4) weeks, only six (6) participants got probiotics in their gut. Others just flush it out via their stool.

The findings show that probiotic drinks are not equally beneficial for everyone. Based on the article, most studies that cite the benefits of probiotics look only at the stool samples instead of the bacteria in the gut of the participants. Meanwhile, this statement does not debunk the benefits associated with healthy bacteria.
