Amid the quarantine, surely it is, that some of you have gained some weight due to staying at home all the time and the only pleasure you can do is eating. However, lockdown shouldn’t be the reason why you must take your health for granted. Healthy lifestyle and regular exercise is still absolutely possible during this crisis.
Now, if you have really gained weight, there are certain ways to lose it as approved by Doc Willie Ong. Check out below:
- Always stick to lean meat and stay away from eating its fats.
- Steaming your food instead of frying is much healthier and would only give you little calories. Using vinegar as your dipping sauce is also suggested as vinegar aids weight loss.
- Limit use of oil as it contains a lot of calories and can also increase your cholesterol level.
- Do not use too much salt. This increases the risk of having high blood and develop heart diseases.
- Use a smaller plate for eating. Smaller plate size means smaller amount of food you have to eat. And when you get use to this, you will eventually shed off some pounds.
- Avoid second serving and forcing yourself to finish your meal even though you are very full already.
- To condition your mind and fill your stomach, drink a glass of water before a meal. With this, you are likely to eat less as you get to feel full easily.
- Reduce your rice consumption. Rice is one of the major factors why you gain weight.
- Avoid fasting. Doc Willie Ong does not suggest to hunger yourself. He recommends for everyone, who wants to lose weight, to eat little by little in smaller portions in a day.
