What are the benefits of power naps depending on its duration?

Sleep and naps are luxury to some of us but with the good effects and health benefits we can get from this, we surely shouldn’t have no excuse to give ourselves a little time to rest every afternoon. Power nap is shutting down your brain to which can affect your mood, alertness, and energy to do afternoon activities.
Length is king in napping but as little as 5 minutes is too short for a nap. The best nap length is the one that’s long enough to refresh you which is 10 to 20 minutes – this is an ideal length. According to Very Well Mind article, a 1-hour nap has more “restorative effects” compared to a 30-minute nap.
To effectively take a nap, don’t take any caffeine after 3 P.M., set an alarm so you may not doze off to longer sleep, and if you only have a short spare time, try meditation instead of napping because it can still give the body the rest it needs.

The time to do this also has an effect such as napping too early or too late. The best time is to do this early in the afternoon.
