This hair-removal procedure solves your problem about the annoying hair growing and peeking in areas where it shouldn’t be seen. It is a waxing procedure that literally takes out the hair above, behind, and just around every corner. It pulls out the hair from the root.

According to the American Academy of Dermatology Association, this procedure removes dead skin cells from the top layer of skin. This way, collagen production gets improved and it can also boost the effectiveness of topical treatments.

If the waxing is done by your wax technician the right way, rash, bumps, or other irritations are unlikely.

What to do before:

  • Trim hair until they are ¼-inch long.
  • Avoid tanning, alcohol, and caffeine to make waxing easier and less painful.
  • Wear cotton undergarments on the day.
  • You may also take an over-the-counter pain reliever 30 minutes before the appointment to make the pain a bit more bearable.

After the waxing appointment, avoid engaging in sexual activities for 24 hours for the healing and recovery of your region. You should also avoid doing any intense physical activities and taking a bath for 24 hours.

Furthermore, after the waxing, expect that there would be some side effects like redness, discoloration, or bumps but these will surely subside after 24 hours. It is also suggested to use lotion or serum meant for that region to make the recovery faster.

Also, never scratch even though it gets really itchy. This may lead to worse irritation and may even cause microtears. Apply something like aloe vera to soothe the itchiness.
