Doc Willie Ong Reveals Ways On How To Reduce High Blood Pressure

DOC WILLIE ONG – Doctor Willie Ong talked about high blood pressure and how to manage the BP for people who are suffering from it.

Undeniably, one of the health conditions that many people are suffering from is high blood pressure or hypertension. Unfortunately, a lot of people have lost their lives due to stroke which is also triggered by having a high BP.

People who are suffering from high BP should not bask under the sun, experience fatigue, eat fatty and salty food, and a lot more. They have to extra careful as it is among the health conditions that are hard to control.

  • 120 over 80 or a bit lower – Normal
  • 120-139 over 80-89 – A little high and should be monitored
  • 140-159 over 90-99 – Quite high thus lifestyle changes should be considered
  • 160+ over 100 – See the doctor

In case your BP prompts the need for lifestyle changes, here is a list of the moves that you can consider to lower your BP:

  • lessen your intake of salty food to lower your BP by 5-10 points
  • if you are overweight, lose 10 pounds to lower your BP by 5-10 points
  • exercise more (walking)
  • eat less meat and more fruits and vegetables

  • ACE Inhibitors – For patients who are also suffering from heart failure or diabetes
  • Beta Blocker – For patients with heart disease and angina
  • Calcium Antagonists – For patients with high BP
  • Diuretic – For elderly patients with high BP
