It is because the passengers seated next to the window have lesser contact with other passengers inside the plane as they pass the aisles.

However, may it be clarified that this may not apply in all cases. A person seated next to the window on the right side but also next to a person with coronavirus on the left may still be at risk.

Based on the article, inside an airplane, the most at risk are the people seated in the same row with the person with novel coronavirus. With regards to the goods from China, there’s low chance of getting infected as virus can survive only a few hours outside a host.
