- Small meals
Nutritionists suggest that a person should eat meals in smaller portions 5 to 6 times in a day. This is to avoid sudden spike in your blood sugar level, prevent overeating, for easy digestion, and prevent hyperacidity and ulcers. - Bananas.
In several videos of Doc Willie Ong, he always states that the most nutritious fruit for him is banana. It according helps treat diarrhea, fatigue, heartburn, insomnia, menstrual problems and kidney problems. And he recommends for this fruit to be eaten everyday. - “Working lunch”
Working while eating lunch may cause indigestion which is why he encourage people to eat lunch solely – just eating without anything to work on. This accordingly confuses the body on what to do – whether to work or to digest. This will lead to an upset stomach and hyperacidity. - 8-10 glasses of water
This is a basic health advise and yet the most essential. Water cleanses the body and right amount to drink everyday is between 8 to 10 glasses of it. It washes off acid in the stomach and the best way to do this is through consuming it little by little throughout the day. - “Stomach-friendly” foods
Always opt for this kind of foods such as yogurt for this contains healthy lactobacilli bacteria good for the stomach. Avoid the spicy ones and take sour foods like vinegar, calamansi, and pineapple juice in pure moderation. - Fruits and vegetables
There is a wide variety of fruits and veggies to choose from. They contain healthy fiber which is excellent for digestion.
