Here are some health tips about these dirty objects you often hold and use.
HEALTH TIPS – These are the common objects and gadgets you use every day that are actually dirtier than you thought they would be.
Cleanliness is a must. Staying clean and practicing the right hygiene will not only get rid of germs and bacteria but will also prevent the development of possible diseases caused by them.
Apart from killing the germs, clean surroundings will also give you peace of mind, avoid food contamination, prevent allergies, and boost mental health. Seeing yourself and your environment clean gives us a sense of satisfaction. Simply put, cleanliness is the state where we are free from clutter and anything that is irrelevant or unnecessary.
Check out the things below we often use and hold that are actually not clean as we may think it would be:
- Cellphone – This gadget is something we carry with us anywhere including the bathroom. It can have E. Coli, a bacteria that causes diarrhea and stomach cramps, which can live in its surface for hours.
- Remote control – Everyone touches it and you’ll never know what the others have held before they touched the remote control. Also, it stays in dark corners that can shelter mold and bacteria.
- Computer keyboard – Anyone can use this. Be sure to give it some good shake to let go of the things stuck under the keys and give each key a wipe of a disinectant.
- Dish sponge – This is probably one of the dirtiest objects inside the house. As soon as it starts to smell, replace it.
- Dog toys – Our fur babies do not only transfer the bacteria from their mouth to their toys but also creates a home where more unwanted bacteria can propagate.
- Money – This is handed from one hand to another and you cannot know how dirt each person who have it have passed into it.
Toothbrush holders, the things you see in your office break room, the cup you’re using in your office, laundry, the purse you are using, ATM machines, shopping carts, soap dispensers, and kitchen towels are just among the common hotspots of germs and bacteria as per a post from WebMD.
The above-mentioned items are so common to use which made them the dirtiest. Be careful.
