MENTAL FATIGUE – Doctor Willie Ong pointed out the common causes behind mental stress and as well as tips on how to avoid it.

Undeniably, being tired is a usual feeling to a lot of people most especially to working individuals. However, do you know that tiredness or fatigue may come in different types?

Based on a video of Doc Willie Ong, there are two (2) types of tiredness or fatigue – physical fatigue and mental fatigue. With regards to the former, it is often caused by doing heavy work that requires physical movements all day. It may also be due to inadequate sleep.

According to Doc Willie, if you are physically tired, it can be relieved by eating a lot and taking enough time to sleep. On the other side, being mentally stressed may be harder to deal with.

  • Do some exercise.
  • Practice self-acceptance.
  • Avoid thinking about things that bring you stress.
  • Talk to a psychologist or a friend.
