EYES ARE NOT EQUAL – Popular doctors Willie and Liza Ong explained why the human eyes are not equal as we can see in the mirror.
If we clearly observe our bodies, there are a lot realities that will surely surprise us. Have you counted all your moles? Did you notice that your feet nor your arms are not totally the same in size? Have you see your eyes in the mirror?
When you look at the mirror, you will notice that your left and right eyes are quite different from each other. The difference is also visible on your photos and as well as the people around you. Try asking them if both your eyes are exactly the same.
According to Dr. Willie and Dr. Liza Ong, there are reasons why our eyes are not equal. That is what the doctor couple explained in a video posted online. According to them, it is due to our eyelids not being equal.

- Ptosis or Drooping Eyelid – Most of the time, old age is the reason for this. The eyelid drops below its normal position. If it is bothering your vision, you can go for a visit to an ophthalmologist.
- Bell’s Palsy – According to Doc Willie and Doc Liza, this is condition due to problems affecting the nerves in the face. The treatment to this is therapy and early treatment enhances the chance of getting it back to normal.
- Presence of oil and bacteria – Based on the video, oil and bacteria in the eyes may also be the reason why eyelids are not equal. It is best to wash it with baby shampoo and apply an anti-bacterial ointment.
- Stye or “Kuliti” – This is caused by a bacterial infection.
- Frequent scrubbing of eyelid – Based on the video, frequent scrubbing of the eyelid may lead to the stretching of the skin causing the eyelid to drop.
- Genetics – Some unequal eyelids are due to family history.
