NERVOUSNESS – Doctor couple Willie and Liza Ong pointed out the symptoms of having this feeling and some tips on what to do.

There are some instances wherein a person does not really suffer from a disease but instead a feeling or an emotion. Unfortunately, this feeling or emotion can trigger diseases and other negative outcomes.

Let us take for example nervousness. Undeniably, almost everyone is capable of feeling this emotion. However, to some people, this emotion can almost eat them up whenever it occurs. It can be caused by a problem, by a challenge like being on stage, or by another emotion – being angry.

Nervousness won’t do the body any good. One of the best things to do is to check on what we can do to avoid it. In a video, doctors Willie and Liza Ong cited its symptoms and as well as gave some tips on what to do to ease it.

Symptoms:

  • sweaty and cold hands that are slightly shaking
  • louder heartbeats
  • dried lips due to stress
  • fast breathing
  • louder voice
  • fast body movements
  • can’t relax
  • looking pale with bigger pupils and nose openings

What To Do If You Are Experiencing Nervousness:

  • relax yourself
  • try to adjust your breathing to a slower pace
  • wipe your hands
  • drink water
  • listen to music
  • think of positive things
  • bear in mind that it is passing
  • rest and sleep
  • tell a friend about it

Based on the video, this feeling is often caused by stress which we get when we are mad. Undeniably, most of the time, we are not aware that we are actually annoyed or mad over something.
