Tips From Dr. Willie Ong On What To Do When You Wake Up
DR. WILLIE ONG – Doctor Willie Ong revealed some best tips on what to do when you wake up and here is a list of them.
Taking care of our health and our bodies require a lot of effort. Meanwhile, it will be worth it as our health is greatest wealth – it is wonderful to live a life away from diseases and unfortunate medical situations.
Do you know that even in as simple as waking up, we must be careful? We may have waking up habits that are actually not good for the body. One of it is jumping out from bed right away which people who usually wake up late are often guilty about.
Through a video, Dr. Willie Ong shared the best tips on what to do when you wake up. These are just simple acts that would be wonderful if we can turn into a habit every morning. Here is a list of what we should do:
- Sit for one(1) minute. When you wake up, do not stand right away as the body may not be fully awake and you may collapse or fall. Take a minute to sit in your bed first.
- Move your head. The neck is usually tight when we wake up in the morning. To avoid stiff neck and some other neck pains, exercise your neck by turning it gently to the left five(5) times and five(5) as well to the right.
- Seat while peeing. According to Doc Willie, even men are advised to seat while peeing in the morning. It is to avoid the episodes of fainting while urinating as the blood pressure drops.
- Drink water. It is advised that you drink one(1) to two(2) glasses of lukewarm water when you wake up. It is to hydrate the body and as well as to reduce the acidity.
