DRY SKIN – Doctor Liza Ramoso-Ong revealed some ways on how to avoid having it which affects a lot of men and women.

Undeniably, most Filipinos are conscious about their skin. It is not only about the color but it is more on keeping it glowing, soft, and moisturized. Both Filipino men and women are in constant search for ways on how to keep their skin healthy.

When it comes to skin problems, most people are facing a dry skin problem. It can be caused by a lot of factors including sun exposure, bath time that takes too long, and certain health conditions.

Through a video posted on YouTube, Doc Liza Ong kindly revealed the ways on how to avoid having a dry skin problem. Here are the pieces of advice from the doctor:

1. Take a short bath everyday.

Doc Liza Ong advises that baths should be at least seven(7) up to ten(10) minutes only. She also prefers using warm water in taking a bath.

2. Use skin moisturizer after taking a bath.

According to Doc Liza, the skin can really absorb the moisturizer well after a bath as it is still soft. That is why lotions are best applied after a bath.

3. Use sunblock and lip balm.

When going under the sun, use sunblock to avoid the darkening of the skin tone. Also, apply lip balm to avoid cracked lips not only during the sunny weather but even during the cold weather.

4. Do not wet your hands often.

Having wet hands most of the time affects the skin. According to Doc Liza, it can lead to the wrinkling of the skin. Here is a video of the doctor posted on YouTube:
