Doc Willie Ong Cites Do’s and Don’ts After Eating

DOC WILLIE ONG – In a video, the popular cardiologist cited the different do’s and don’ts after eating.

Undeniably, to keep ourselves healthy, a close monitoring not only of our diet but as well as of our lifestyle is needed. No matter how much we eat green leafy vegetables, we won’t really be fit if we don’t drop our unhealthy habits.

We may have simple habits that can actually have risky effects on the body or can lead to health complications. Do you love to lie in the bed after eating? It is one of the habits that you must stop.

In a video, Doc Willie Ong pointed out there are do’s and don’ts after eating. Here is a list of the things that you must not do right after you ate some food:

  • Do not lie in bed or sleep. According to Doc Willie, it can lead to acid reflux as the food will go up to the esophagus.
  • Do not exercise too much after eating. It is important to wait for at least thirty (30) minutes after eating before you will do some exercise.
  • Do not take a shower right away.
  • Avoid stress.
  • Do not eat again after again. It can lead you to obesity.

With regards to the do’s after eating, Doc Willie Ong cited three (3) things. Based on the video, here is a list of what you may do:

  1. Take some relaxing moments.
  2. Do some walking.
  3. Loosen your belt to reduce the pressure in your stomach.
