There are these health conditions we always thought and perceived as simple but can actually cause harm and danger which can ultimately lead to our untimely death. Thus, we must be mindful and careful of what are the things our body is trying to tell us about the state of our health.

Here are these conditions you thought were simple but actually very alarming already:

  • Hypokalemia. Low potassium level is deadly and dangerous and the causes are of various factors such as electrolyte losses, magnesium deficiency, malabsorption, and among others. One way to determine this is through blood test. Some foods rich in potassium are avocado, sweet potatoes, acorn squash, spinach, coconut water, yogurt, banana, white beans, mushrooms, and many more.
  • Anaphylaxis. Severe allergies are definitely alarming. Symptoms such as hives, swelling, redness, itchiness, warmth, redness, coughing, shortness of breath, chest tightness, trouble swallowing, nasal congestion, and others are dangerous.
  • Chest Pain and Palpitation. Heart attack is the top cause of death in Philippines and common already but this is not something that should be dealt simply with. Warning signs include severe chest pain, unusual pain in the upper body, cold sweating, sudden dizziness, nauseatic, fatigue, and shortness of breath.
  • Sudden weight loss without diet. This could be caused by other diseases and you must see your doctor right away to consult your condition of losing weight even without doing any diet or anything to lose weight.
