Now, if you are having some problems with the folds of your stomach, here are some best and beginner-friendly workouts you can do in order to flatten it:
- Hardstyle plank won’t need any equipment. Just place yourself in a forearm plank position with your elbows aligned under your shoulders, and hands in fist. Then, hold such position for 10 to 20 seconds per set. And gradually lengthen duration for better results.
- Do Dead bug by placing your back on the floor, hands straight above the shoulders, and your legs bent forming a 90-degree angle with your thigh. Now, as you put a left arm above your head, put down your right and do this simultaneously and do the same in the opposite side. There’s 14 reps in one set.
- Use a single medium-weight dumbbell to do a Dumbbell side bend. Position your feet apart, hold the dumbbell on your right, and bend at your waist as far as you can. Repeat for 12 to 20 times in one set.
- Bird dog is another work out you won’t need any equipment as this is just dead bug in reverse. In a tabletop position, simultaneously lift your right arm and stretch your left leg and do the same on the other side – the left arm and the right leg as per GQ article.
