SLEEPING LATE – Here are consequences of always sleeping late at night or working on a night shift and how it badly affects the overall health.
Sleep plays a vital role in our health. Sleeping is best during the night as it gives the body the full and complete rest it needs after a whole day of work. Experts suggests that a person must have a sleep of eight (8) hours.
And staying up late losing sleep or lack of sleep due to some reasons has bad effects to our health and body. Sleep loss has serious effects and it can affect your s*x life, memory, looks, and even your ability to lose weight decreases.
According to Doc Willie Ong, here are the bad effects of sleep loss:
- blood sugar imbalance and diabetes
- inhibited mental performance
- increase risk of injury and accidents
- hormone imbalance
- weight gain
- digestive disorders
- depression
- anxiety
- chronic fatigue
Lack of sleep also affects thinking and learning skills as it plays a critical role to cognitive processes. This also have an effect to your attention, focus, alertness, concentration, reasoning, and problem solving.
This only means that getting enough amount sleep and beauty isn’t just for vanity but it could also save your life. And in a previous article, there are certain ways and tips that can effectively make you fall asleep faster:
- doing physical activities prior bedtime
- drinking chamomile tea
- quiet, dark room and a comfortable bed
- avoiding stress
- taking a warm bath before going to bed and; among others.
Also, some of the healthy foods to eat to fall asleep quickly include banana for relaxation, sweet potato, oatmeal, milk, and chamomile tea.
