Tips From Dr. Liza Ong On How To Keep the Neck Skin Beautiful & Healthy
NECK SKIN – Here are some tips from doctor Liza Ramoso-Ong on how to keep it healthy and beautiful.
Undeniably, one of the goals of most people most especially women is to have a healthy and beautiful skin. That is why a lot of people spend hours in stores selling cosmetic products – skin whitening lotions, anti-aging creams, facial wash, etc.
It is really a wonderful move to be in the pursuit of achieving a healthy and beautiful skin. However, undeniably, there are areas in the body wherein the skin in those parts is really hard to maintain.
One of it is the neck skin. A lot of people struggle with dark skin tone in the said part. Some even have problems over rough skin in the said area. In a video, Dr. Liza Ong generously gave tips on how to keep it healthy and beautiful:
1. Apply moisturizer
Moisturizer should not only be applied on the face but as well as on the neck. It can help reduce the wrinkles. According to Doc Liza, you can do it twice a day.
2. Use sunscreen
The UV lights from the sun is harmful to the skin. It is vital to use sunscreen lotion that is SPF 30 and above.
3. Drink plenty of water
Hydrate your skin by drinking a lot of water. You water in-take should not fall below eight(8) glasses daily except for those with health conditions like cardiovascular diseases.
4. Use facial mask
According to Doc Liza, facial mask can actually be used in the neck. You can do it twice a week.
5. Do not use higher pillows when sleeping
Based on the video, using higher pillows can also cause wrinkles. It happens when the skin is being stretched a lot.
6. Stretch your neck from time-to-time
When you are seating for a long period of time, it is best to stretch your neck from time to time. Doc Liza also advises seating with straight back.
7. Eat healthy food
Eat more vegetables and fruits that can help nourish the skin. You may consider food that are rich in omega 3 fatty acids and Vitamin C.
8. Visit a dermatologist before applying some products
Based on the video, it is really best to see a skin doctor or a dermatologist before using some skin-tightening or lifting products. Make sure that the doctor is a member of the Philippine Dermatological Society (PDS).
