There are a lot of factors that can affect the hair and make it frizzy and prone to tangles and dryness. Among these factors are the weather, the insufficient nutrients for the hair, and too much on chemicals on shampoo and conditioner we use.
Both men and women now are concerned with hair. There are at least 7 ways to keep the hair healthy and smooth. Based on an article on NDTV, here is a list of what you must keep in mind:
- Be very careful when combing your hair while it is wet. It is prone to breakage. It is advisable to used a “broad toothed comb” and run it from your hair’s roots to the ends.
- Use the same brand of shampoo and conditioner. It is important to check on the chemical content of the products you are using. If you are washing your hair daily, be sure to use a conditioner.
- Rinse the conditioner from your hair using cold water. It is good to make the hair both strong and shiny.
- Trim your hair every few weeks to get rid of the rough split ends. cut around 1/4th an inch of your hair every six (6) to eight (8) weeks.
- Based on the article, it is best to avoid the hair coloring. If you really wanted a lighter hair color, you may use honey, lemon, and chamomile in lightening the color of your hair.
- Use deep conditioning in your hair every time you wash it. It is one of the secrets for a healthy and shiny hair.
