Is it okay to eat one egg every day? Eggs accordingly have confusing details in terms of its content. Some says that the cholesterol it has, especially in the yolks, is bad for your health as it can contribute to heart disease. But other experts told that eggs is actually helpful when you want to lose weight.
According to Doc Liza Ong, egg contains protein, vitamin B12, vitamin D, riboflavin, and folate but a single yolk contains 213 milligrams of cholesterol. The best way to eat this is through boiling instead of frying and one egg everyday is actually already a healthy amount to consume.
However, it is also advised that if you have conditions like heart disease, diabetes, or high cholesterol level, you must limit yourself to only take three (3) eggs in a week as per the post. Moderate egg intake does not increase the risk of cardiovascular disease or mortality.
