COVID-19 – Here is a list of the ten (10) things you can do while at home to prevent getting infected by the 2019 novel coronavirus.

Currently, the Philippine government is calling the cooperation of the public amid the fight against the 2019 novel coronavirus or COVID-19. It can bring the worst situations if its infection is not contained.

There is a now a total of 202 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the Philippines. Seventeen (17) people died of the said disease. Everyone is asked to stay at home to prevent the spread of the infection.

During your stay at home, there are several things you can do. Here is a list of the ten (10) things you can do while staying at home to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 infection:

1. Pray. Take this big opportunity to nurture your faith and grab the privilege of the being the child of the Almighty. Pray for you and the safety of everyone.

2. Stay at home. While staying at home, keep in mind to “stay at home”. There is always the temptation to find excuses to go out. Do not take it unless it is very necessary.

3. Boost your immunity. Have enough sleep, eat healthy, take Vitamin C, and observe proper hygiene.

4. Clean your surroundings. Make sure that your surroundings is clean. Disinfect but be careful on using disinfectants.

5. Work on your tasks at home. You may have pending tasks that you can do at home. Take the time to finally do them.

6. Gather factual information about COVID-19. It is best to be aware of the enemy. Read some factual information about the coronavirus but do not allow yourself to be stressed. Just get to know it to know how to prevent it further.

7. Spend time with your loved ones. Take the time to talk and spend time with your loved ones at home. Enjoy meal time together, watch movies, bake some goodies, etc.

8. Do your indoor passion. You might be missing drawing, painting, listening to your favorite band, etc. You can do them now.

9. Stop worrying and thinking of negative things. Go away from negative thoughts and worries. Go back to number 1 when they start to follow you.

10. Rest. Take a good time to rest.
