Why are you bloated? We all have gas and many adults suffer from belching or flatulence. But the thing about bloating is that it does not necessarily mean you have a digestion problem. Expelling gas from the body can be done in three ways which are burping, abdominal bloating, and flatus.
There are several things that can lead to gas and these include your behavior and food choice.
Talking while eating, smoking, using of straw when drinking, stomach overload, very hot or very cold drinks, and wearing tight-fitting clothes are just some of the activities that you do that cause gas. As for the foods, the following can lead to gas:
- Carbonated beverages
- Spicy, fried or fatty foods
- Broccoli, cabbage, onions
- Beans
- Apple or prune juice
- Dried fruits
- Anything containing sorbitol, mannitol or maltitol
How to debloat?

- Avoid sodas and stick with water.
- Be active everyday.
