Heart failure is one of the health conditions that a lot of people are suffering from. However, in some cases, the condition has already been going on for several months before they were able to detect it.
In a video, Doc Willie Ong explained the causes of heart failure and the five (5) warnings signs of heart failure. According to the cardiologist, the common reason is the blockage of the artery.
Doc Willie explained that if there is a blockage, there will be an insufficient supply of blood in the muscles in the heart. It could result in chest pain and difficulty breathing.
According to the cardiologist, the blockage could lead to the death of the muscle which further results in a heart attack. The person can die of heart attack. If the person survives, the pumping activity of the heart will not be like before.
Unhealthy habits, stress, cholesterol, high blood level, and diabetes are among the factors that can trigger the blockage of an artery. The other cause is damage to one of the valves.
Doc Willie also cited that a virus can also cause heart failure. The health condition can also be hereditary. With regards to the five (5) warning signs of heart failure, the cardiologist made an acronym of the symptoms “FACES”.
